Cool idea. I found that the best strategy for me was to leave the mouse cursor at the right side of the screen and just type the words as they appeared which was a real challenge for some of those gnarly words! I experienced a bug at one point where monsters & the word would disappear before they were typed out/finished emerging. Not sure what was going on, but this brought back some good memories of playing Typing of the Dead in the arcade. Great work!
Nice mix of a typing game and horror game! The flashlight mechanic is a great addition. Is there any sound? Audio would really add to the horror element. I don't know if it's possible to lock the cursor in Godot's web builds, but I often moved my cursor a little too far to the edge and it ended up on another screen, causing the left/right panning to stop. Also, clever title!
